Reading books to a 4 months old baby

Hi, I have a baby boy which is 4 months old now. I am trying to reading him a book everyday but I speak other language at home (Indonesian). Will this confused him? To switch English and Indonesian?

Answer: Hello, Research around this issue has shown that babies who grow up in bilingual households do take longer to develop speech and language however, they tend to catch up once they are at preschool and school. There are real benefits for him in you reading to him, in either or both languages. Keep doing this. What is important is that he is immersed in language and a stimulating environment. Best Jane
