Hi Maree,
My daughter is almost 11 months old. She started child care for the first time on Monday (only for 1 day) so her routine was understandably disrupted a little. She only had one sleep during the day instead of her usual two. Trouble is, she has continued to only sleep once at home for the rest of the week (she`ll go down about 12 and sleep for anywhere from 45 mins to 2 and a half hrs). I have tried to get her to go down at her usual time of 9.30/10 but she doesn`t seem tired and will be happy for half an hr or so in her cot then start protesting. I`m not sure if I should continue to try to get her to sleep in the morning or accept that she only wants one sleep from now on. I`m just concerned she still needs more sleep as she is quite grumpy in the late afternoon, especially if she`s only had around an hr`s sleep all day.
Thanks

Maree...
Answer: Hi, It is about this time that baby will go to one daytime nap anyway but the best thing is be guided by tired signs as every day won`t be the same. Don`t make a battle out of it. Cheers, Maree
