He keeps rolling over to his side then onto his tummy

Hi Maree,
Once I put my (nearly) 5-month old baby to bed, he keeps rolling over to his side then onto his tummy. He often does this I think to push his dummy in; he buries his head and I can hear the dummy being pushed against his mouth.
How can I stop him rolling over? I`ve tried a rolled up towel to hold him in place (recommended by a child health nurse), and specially made foam wedges, which were unfortunately too small and didn`t help!
Also, do you think he is trying to get some relief of some kind, by burying his head and pushing the dummy around his gums?
I keep rolling him back which seems to upset him, and usually, he eventually (after several interventions!) goes off to sleep.
With thanks,
Allison.

Answer: Hi Allison, You can`t hold back natural progression he will continue to develop and be able to roll back again soon enough, meanwhile give him lots of tummy time when playing to strengthen his neck. Cheers, Maree
