At 6mths she got a cold and woke 3 or 4 times a night and hasn`t stopped since

I have an 11month old girl. Since about 10weeks old she was sleeping through the night. 7.30pm til 7am with me waking her for a quick, quiet bottle at 10.30pm. Then at about 4months I cut out that bottle and she continued to sleep through. Then at 6mths old (about the same time she started solids and sitting independently) she got a cold and woke 3 or 4 times a night and hasnt stopped. In fact a good night is 3 times, a bad night is 10-12 times. I have weaned her off her dummy at the paedatricians suyggestion and now she is dummy free but is still waking 5-6 times. She gets no comfort from me when I go into settle her and no night time feeds. I make sure she isnt hungry and I just pull up her blanket and sometimes turn the music on quietly and touch her head. Where do I go from, from here?
My son did something similar at the same age but it turned out that he was allergic to banana so we havent even tried banana for Gemma.
Help????

Answer: Hi Amada, Do make sure she is settled awake into her cot initially at night that`s very important. It would seem she is just looking for your presence, I would try just going to the door let her know it`s time to sleep and leave, see how you go. Cheers, Maree
