I am pregnant with my 6th child. What is the chance of any complications? If so, what are they?
I have 5 children so far (including twins) and I just found out I am pregnant with another baby. I was wondering whether/what complications that could arise since this is my 6th child? What risks could occur?
Answer: Hi, For specific information you will need to speak with your maternity care provider who will know your individual history. But in a general sense with multi or grandpara women, there is an increased risk of gestational diabetes, premature labour, positional/attachment issues with the placenta, symphysis pubis dysfuction and BP issues. But this is not prescriptive, every woman is unique and her pregnancy individual. Speak with your maternity care provider to see what applies to you and your baby. Best Jane
