I'm due to have a cesarean in a few days (I have a mild heart condition so I have to) and I am really anxious about the spinal. What does it feel like and what will I feel during surgery? What are the common side effects and when are you up and walking/going to the bathroom on your own?

Answer: Hello Miarosesmith85, congratulations on your upcoming birth. Here is some information to have a look at which will answer your questions: Just be mindful that hospitals have different policies and may do things slightly differently. Make sure you ask the doctors your questions and do not sign any consent forms until you feel completely informed. Good luck, Sarah
