Skill for Bub: Mind builder
Stimulate your baby’s vision by making black, white, and red designs.
Although your newborn’s sight won’t be fully formed for many weeks, he can already make out sharply contrasting colours, even at this young age. You can stimulate his budding vision by creating black, white, and red art for him to admire.
Using red and black markers, draw shape patterns on two white sheets of poster board, cut into 8-1/2-x-11-inch pieces. Punch two holes on the top corners of the poster boards. Thread string or ribbon through the holes and attach them in bows to the sides of baby’s crib out of his reach, but within his line of vision.
