Will they be able to communicate with each other?
A quick question... If there is a class of babies learning baby sign together, will they be able to communicate with each other? Or do they only really communicate to their care-givers/parents?
Answer: Hi There, Baby sign language is a tool that pre-verbal babies can use to communicate with family, care-givers, siblings and fellow babies. I have seen and heard of many instances where pre-verbal children are using sign language with their older siblings, parents, child care workers etc, to communicate what they want when they want it or to highlight what they are interested in. It is an amazing tool that incorporates the national sign language of Australia and helps reduce frustration for all involved. Happy Signing! Jackie
