Is it too late to see someone about PND now?
Hi Betty, my son is now 18 months old. My husband and I both think I had PND at least until my son was 10 months old. I didn`t seek any help so I have not been diagnosed with it. I still get very upset when I think about my baby`s first year and the things I missed out on because I was so upset and angry. My husband would like another baby but I don`t feel I can go through that again. Is it too late to see someone about PND now? How long does it last?
ts never too late ....please seek help with someone you feel comfortable with. It would be lovely if your family can grow but you do need to feel on top of your feelings as well. What is referred to as PND can last...I refer to feelings of anxiety, depression and anger, and certainly if unchecked why would they go away of their own accord if the underlying thought patterns are not `tweaked`. This is relatively easy to diagnose if you can provide more information or see a psychologist. Betty
