Answer: Speak with the director at the child care centre and let them know you are unhappy with the current arrangement. Do they know how you feel and are they aware of what's happening? I would think they should be and probably are, but it's important for everyone, most of all your little one and the other child that they are in the right age groups so that these sort of issues don't occur. Avoid speaking with the other parent, this needs to be handled by the management of the centre and the individual staff who are caring for them. If you don't feel comfortable discussing this with them in person, perhaps you could email or write a letter to the director, stating your concerns. It's important that you just state the facts and tell them what you want to see done. If that's ineffective and you still don't feel you're getting anywhere then perhaps you'd need to speak with the owners of the childcare centre themselves, or the governing body of childcare centres such as C & K in your state.
