Maternity bra sizes once baby is born - when to buy new bras
My baby is now 6 weeks old and my breasts are starting to decrease in size. When are they likely to stabilise in size that makes it worth buying more than 2 maternity bras that fit?
Answer: From around this age group generally, though obviously every mother and her lactating breasts are individual. Perhaps you could buy one for now and just rotate it endlessly through the laundry etc. Get one with lots of strap adjusting options and maybe not spend too much so that it's not as financially painful if you need a new size in the short term. Most mothers breasts adjust to their own individual lactation size from around 6-8 weeks onwards. Cheers Jane
