Answer: A check up with your GP may be useful. Perhaps a hearing test and even a vision test would help to rule out any medical or behavioural issues she's displaying. Also, have you considered doing a parenting course such as Triple P? Check with your local child health centre or again, your GP to see what's available in your local area. Some behavioural protest is common and entirely normal at this age and stage, but without knowing more about your own and her individual situation, I'm sorry I can't give you more specific information. It may help you to read up on the section on toddler behaviour management on the Huggies site and to see if there are some strategies you could employ such as heaping her with praise when she's behaving well, ignoring what doesn't matter and even time out for negative behaviour. You and your partner need to work together as a cohesive team if you are to make good progress towards her behaviour improving. Best Jane
