Answer: Hi, She may just be a little slower to become interested or she's not quite developmentally ready to learn what's involved with toilet training. Have you checked the Huggies site for toilet training tips? Is she aware that she's wetting/soiling herself and can she tell you when she wants to go? Role modelling is very helpful so it's good that you're taking her with you to the toilet so she sees what's involved. Summer is often a more practical time to toilet train so you may find that with less layers to manage over the warmer months she gets what's involved. And make sure she can access the toilet, take her every couple of hours and sit on the floor beside her when she's on the toilet and look at a book together. Perhaps consider a sticker or star chart so she's linking effort with reward. Be patient and kind, there's no place for discipline with toilet training. With time and maturity and constant repetition she'll learn what's involved, it may just be a little early for her that's all. If you are concerned about this or any other aspect of her development then I'd suggest that you speak with your GP. Best Jane
