These are great as a quick snack or as part of a main meal. With the addition of the special ingredient of chutney, it really gives the rissole’s a lift.

Ingredients

  • 500gm mince
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsn chutney
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • mixed herbs
  • salt & pepper
  • extra breadcrumbs
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the mince, onion, chutney and breadcrumbs together, then add the lightly beaten egg.
  2. Add herbs, salt & pepper and mix.
  3. Roll into small bite size balls then flatten into oval shaped rissoles.
  4. Roll rissoles in the extra breadcrumbs, the lightly fry in the oil. They only need a couple of minutes on each side.
  5. Enjoy hot or cold.
