These are great as a quick snack or as part of a main meal. With the addition of the special ingredient of chutney, it really gives the rissole’s a lift.
- 500gm mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsn chutney
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- mixed herbs
- salt & pepper
- extra breadcrumbs
- olive oil
- Mix the mince, onion, chutney and breadcrumbs together, then add the lightly beaten egg.
- Add herbs, salt & pepper and mix.
- Roll into small bite size balls then flatten into oval shaped rissoles.
- Roll rissoles in the extra breadcrumbs, the lightly fry in the oil. They only need a couple of minutes on each side.
- Enjoy hot or cold.
